Alanna is a “powerful and creepy-looking” artist, tea drinker, and ABBA enthusiast born and raised on Indigenous territory.
Alexis is an advertiser and a professional fun-haver who gets through life using humour. In her spare time, she likes to hula hoop, sing, draw, tell jokes, and hold animals.
Allyn is an avid reader, a believer in the power of protests, and the creator of too many Spotify playlists. Please don’t call her Allen.
Alyssa is a second-year advertising and marketing student. This year, she celebrates her 15th year as a full-fledged Canadian citizen.
Arianna Montanino is an advertising and marketing student who loves pun-filled copy, dystopian novels, and farming video games.
Anya is a journalism student who runs on little sleep and plenty of coffee. Her biological name is Andrea, but she also accepts “dog mom”.
Anja Sadovski worked as an assistant social media strategist at a local agency in Winnipeg where she found her passion for strategy and design. After graduation Anja hopes to pursue a career in brand management and public relations.

Brianne likes animated movies, relaxing at home and animals. Brianne’s house is filled with the love of a loud cat, an angry bird and a kind chinchilla.

Cady is currently studying public relations and communication management. She discusses female entrepreneurship in Winnipeg, Manitoba on her blog — which combines her interests in communication, business, and overall wellness.
Cassy is a public relations and communication management student who advocates for the inclusion of all shapes and sizes. When she’s not blogging for The Curvy Book, she’s dancing on and off the stage with Studio One School of Performing Arts.
Chris is an emerging public relations professional with an objective: make Winnipeg better, happier, and more inclusive. He cares about urban design and third places, functional transit, equitable development, and arts & culture events which shake people out of their daily lives.
Eric is a video maker and nap taker. In his free time, he likes tinkering with computers and playing basketball.
Elisabeth knows food, and she knows how to write about it. She bakes and cooks even if she doesn’t need to eat.
Evan is a soccer player, dog petter, and elite gamer. His dog Freya is stinky but very good.

Kaitlyn has been trying to get paid to write ever since her middle-school blog almost made her famous. Her pastimes include spending time with her husband, Daniel, and complaining about passive voice and Comic Sans.
Kaitlyn Scott is a movie buff, animal lover, and book nerd. She lives in Winnipeg with two extremely rude cats.
Kellen is a journalism student who wants his work to start conversations. Kellen is heavily involved in sports journalism, but also enjoys sharing news stories people care about.
Kelsey is a professional writer with a background in fine arts, communications, and wellness. She loves using writing as a way of connecting with people and learning about how the world works.
Kailynn grew up with a book in her lap and a pen in her hand. She believes the cliché that home is where the heart is, and her heart will always wander.
Kathleen is a copywriter, social media strategist, and self-diagnosed ‘creative type’. Her true calling was to sing alongside Gene Kelly in Singin’ in the Rain, but for now she is content with karaoke and a career in advertising.
Liane is curious about the world and finds that she needs an outlet to help her sort it out. She is usually cautious about oversharing her life but will do so when the timing seems right or the reasons are important.

Lucas is a media production specialist for hire, aspiring screenwriter, Pokémon Master, and a hella funny dude on Twitter (where you can follow him @LucasHrynyk). Ironically, he was terrified of movies as a kid after watching Stuart Little.
Matthew is a writer, video editor, and a man without a dog. He loves games on the TV or table, watching irresponsible amounts of Rian Johnson and Edgar Wright movies before deadlines, and donuts.
Nikola is a 22-year-old who made her way to Winnipeg, Manitoba from small town Ituna, Saskatchewan. She enjoys iced coffee, and anything that involves the arts and sports.
Nicole is a journalism student with a knack for alliteration. She survives on coffee, craft beer, and curiosity.
Nik is a journalism student living in Transcona. He values the importance of a tight community, and especially enjoys all the parks in Transcona where he can bring his husky, Willow.
Orycia is a long-time dancer with the Rusalka Ukrainian Dance Ensemble and loves to travel. She spends half of her time preparing for her dream career in healthcare communications, and the other half on the dance floor.
Oscar is a first-generation Canadian, of Guatemalan heritage. A massive nerd, he enjoys music, video games, and film – especially when they make him cry.

Patrick is a men’s fashion and lifestyle blogger who is passionate about Filipino representation in media. He hopes to build a Filipino district in Winnipeg someday.
Ryan is a journalism student and foreign language enthusiast. He is a second-generation Canadian and tweets as @ryanajobc.
A visual storyteller, digital creator, and musician—Rein Cabalquinto has the ability to tell a story through all creative forms. He hopes to work in the film industry as a director of photography and film composer.
Richard Clement is a curmudgeon and a writer who lives near Winnipeg. He is an outspoken proponent of issues surrounding mental health and addiction. In a pinch he is edible.
Riley has lived a few different lives. He currently writes articles on topics ranging from finance and agriculture to his wayward escapades as a young musician. While life keeps shifting, music has been a constant and has put him on stages around the world with Winnipeg soul-rockers The Noble Thiefs.
Riva is an improviser, writer, and sometimes-actor who likes the colour green. Her work has appeared in Rookie Mag, unsent love letters, and the front of her refrigerator.
Rachel is a storyteller with an interest in music, tattoos, and travelling. If you don’t see her with a coffee in her hand, she is probably on her way to get one.

Sarah Jane is a comedian, actor, and writer with a wide range of areas of expertise, including but not limited to: astrology, artisanal cheese, cognitive neuroscience, CBS Survivor, and the filmography of Richard Dreyfuss.
Stephanie is a local music blogger and enthusiastic storyteller. As an advertising and marketing student, she spends most of her time bringing outside-of-the-box ideas to life and connecting communities through art.
Sam is a loud and forceful woman despite her short stature, who thrives on black coffee, working out, and promoting self-love. Special skills include making oatmeal, overthinking, and eating excessive amounts of dessert without getting sick.
Tessa is an amateur artist and comic enthusiast. She enjoys naps and sleeping.
